Well, I'm Pope John Paul II. And I think I know why. I was rather stumped by the question on what my most noticeable personality trait was. I don't think I'm unassuming, and I don't think I have no noticeable personality. I'm petty sure I don't love everybody, even though I should. I certainly don't always speak my mind, and I also certainly don't keep my emotions to myself. So that left being smarter than the average bear as a pick for my most noticeable personality trait. I may not be a LOT smarter...but smarter nonetheless, so I picked that one. Up popped Pope John Paul II. After the first flush of pride subsided, I started to wonder what effect that personality pick had on the result. So I hit the back button and changed that question to 'I love everybody.' That choice got me in line with the both of of you as Pope St. Pius X. I wonder who an 'I am always optimistic.' selection would have produced.
I picked "smater than the average bear" and still got St. Pius X, so it's somewhat complicated. I made a few changes and got Pope Pius XII one time, and Pope John Paul II one time. I made a lot of changes and got Pope Paul VI a few times, and Pope John Paul I once. I managed to get Pope John XXIII with a selection of the most "gregarious" choices. Never did find a combination that gave Pope Pius XI or Pope Benedict XV. Pope Benedict XVI isn't an option, since the quiz pre-dates his election.

So am I! I guess that's why our marriage works so well... we're both the same twentieth century Pope.
